2. Sometimes it’s so frustrating to watch Korean characters. It’s true that it’s not as frustrating as the characters from Japanese dramas, but it’s still frustrating. Are there really such people in South Korea or Japan who behave like this or is it just character characterization and drama use? Some of these characters behave (sorry) like people with mental disabilities, as if they were autistic. Passive, allowing themselves to be pushed around and not fighting for themselves, socially unable to distinguish who is friendly and who is false, who likes them, who loves them. These are not riddles, it is not difficult to recognize such things, and the characters in Korean dramas are completely lost in life and have no idea whether the people around them are communicating to them non-verbally. I have the impression that half of this nation could use mandatory sessions with a psychologist to make them aware of how to recognize other people’s intentions.
