  1. awwww, I’m so sad to see this drama end. I will miss the fluffiness. This last episode was so so so so cute that I feel like I’ll revisit it when I’m in need of some sweetness in my life!

  2. Besides the horrible idea of airing one episode a week, this was genuinely a great drama. Even the ending was satisfying and it wrapped up nicely. Not the most action packed drama, but a warm & cozy one that many people will enjoy.

  3. So he just disappears from their lives after messing with them, tormenting them, torturing her family for generations? He never apologizes or gives them a blessing or something to make up for it? That’s some grade A BS!

  4. the gift she gave to him ( the video of the shadow play) is a perfect example of “it is the thought that counts”. Something that wasn’t expensive or exorbitant however, it was meaningful to the receiver.
As someone who watched Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung, I’ve never subscribed to the “Cha Eun Woo can’t act bandwagon” and I’m glad to see him getting better every day. I absolutely enjoy watching Park Gyu-young because she’s a really good actor, Dali and the Cocky Prince is one of my comfort dramas.
Despite the weird broadcasting, I really enjoyed this show (maybe because I binged watched it until episode 10) and I really liked the plot
Ngl, when it was announced I thought the plot was weird but I’m glad to see how the writers, director and actors brought it to life. Kudos to the team.

  5. Uh, THIS is finished. What am I going to do at Wednesday Night?? πŸ˜” i have been watching it for like 3 or more months and it got included in my daily routine.
Anyway happy for soehea couple. I am glad everyone had a happy ending🫰 regardless their work. Hope to see more this kinds of drama in the future.

This drama gave me butterflies πŸ₯°.but the recantation side was a little bit off for me. Other than that it is a good drama.9 out of 10😘

  6. A story about love loyalty, overcoming & moving forward ,has finally come to an end & it was a long one. I really wish it was the standard 2 ep so that it flowed better. Anyways, I enjoyed it for the most part.
    Pros:
    – The actors/acting were all very good throughout. Each of them had fun energy & worked. And the mean ones were good at being mean. Eunwoo has improved & Kim YiKyung was a standout.
    – Chemistry between the cast was extremely good & I really did buy each relationship, especially the Main one.
    – Comedy & romance were really good too. Thing worked well w/out being too corny. Paris Lover LOL!
    – The story was charming & I do wish we got more time w/ our Mains as a couple.
    – Visually good looking series & very good camera work too.
    – OST was okay. BGM was definitely better & matched the scenes well.
    Cons:
    – the story dragged a bit at the end. Too much focus on the Mt. God’s vendetta.
    – Eunwoo, while improved, is still playing a similar character to his previous works.
    – Some characters rather lack motivation & just go w/ the flow.
Honestly, I don’t think there are that many cons & I’m just only mentioning a few things I remember.
Personal Score: 8/10 I really enjoyed it & I liked a lot of it, but it felt a bit cliche at times. Especially the reincarnation bit. Still very fun.
Objective Score: 9/10 I don’t really think there are that many flaws. The story, actors & technical parts were good.

  7. I can’t describe how much I loved this drama! I can say that it quickly became one of my all time favourite dramas. It was such a lovely story. The cast, acting, costumes, everything was just perfect.
Gyuyoung and Eunwoo’s chemistry was on another level! (those kiss scenes, omg! ngl the best kissing I have ever seen in kdramas). They really clicked so well. Their moments both on and off camera were just brilliant! I really hope to see them in more projects in the future! πŸ’“πŸ’“
Thank you for all the actors and staff who made this drama possible~ You made my Wednesdays truly happy!

  8. This drama will be remeberd for kissing scenes
Cha Eun Woo you will be remembered πŸ’—
    Nice cozy drama πŸ’—

  9. Cute episode, cute drama. Laughed alot. This featured a beautiful couple that really looked good together and they carried the drama easily~

  10. Looking at most of the comments I think we all agree that going one chapter a week seriously hurt this drama. Continuity was lost and ratings surely fell (I really don’t know, I supose).
I really liked the performance of the main actors, in the end the romance-tragedy of the mountain god ended up being more interesting for me.

Topic aside, I hope that most of the actors, people and whoever wants, to take kissing classes with Cha Eun Woo, that would be fantastic for all of us as viewers.

  11. more than half the episode was flashbacks with barely 15 minutes of something new….it was better as a 12 episode drama, cz the last 3 episodes was a total drag.

Cha eun woo has definitely improved and m waiting for his next drama which seems a bit different and hoping to watch him in a different character…..

  12. First episode aired on 11th October and this is only 14 episodes long drama…let that sink in

  13. Yeah I skipped most of this episode, I think it didn’t help that this drama was released randomly/slowly

  14. I feel like this drama wouldve been a lot more popular if they released 2 episodes per week πŸ€”

  15. this drama was worth for a binge watch, then ongoing one…had to get lot of patience as it was per week epi..in between it got bore, but ended well..
    enjoyed watching it

  16. I just couldn’t with him…his makeup, his hair and specially the way he tied his hair…πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  17. she dated him for a year without him speaking to her and without her knowing that he can’t speak as a human???? and just accepted gifts from him all this time??? r u serious??? 🀯🀯

  18. Anyways, if not for the fact that we only got one ep a week and some ‘fillery’ scenes, I really enjoyed watching it. It gave that cozy feeling idk how to describe πŸ’—
    7/10 for the screenplay
    7.5/10 for the story
9/10 for the acting of the cast
10/10 for the kiss scenes and all their love scenes bcz the chemistry was really chemistrying

    I’d give it a 8/10 in total

  19. the name was A good day to be a dog, and there was never a gud day for her or for even anyone in her family to be or being a dog 🀣🀣🀣🀣

  20. Tbh while they were kissing, I’ve been thinking about this, the fact that he is a kpop idol and could do these skin ship scenes while not letting any hate get to the female actress is amazing because sometimes am actress can’t even be seen in the k-idol’s MV with them just staring at each other without the actress being hated. I really hope this could be normalised bcz I really wanna see many idols who have talents in acting, try that as well

  21. a happy ending
it’s the end of a good day to be a dog it was such a cute, fluffy and nice drama with our visual couple, i enjoyed it so much such a fan of gyu young’s acting and our cha eunwoo his unexpected acting growth he’s just amazing. it’s all good the couple had such strong, beautiful and electrifying chemistry but oh geez the crazy airing schedule was s#it.
i will rate it a solid 9.5 out of 10.
i will miss my puppies so much.

p.s- also the way they went viral because of their kisses no doubt is was so hotπŸ”₯πŸ’‹πŸ«£

    they will be missed πŸ₯Ή
believing seohae will have β€œhundreds & thousands” more just as haena said.πŸ₯ΉπŸ«
p.s.s- yul and jiah is so cute and beautiful❀️
also can’t resist myself from mentioning yul and seowon’s uncle-nephew relationship they’re so fluffyπŸ₯Ή

  22. Me watching the episode just like I’ve been watching every Wednesday since Oct: πŸ₯°
Realising it’s the final and I didn’t mentally prepare myself to lose another drama: πŸ€‘πŸ˜πŸ’€

Omg this finished today, Ms park’s marriage contract last week, my Demon next week…. what is the reason of my existence now???

  23. Special appreciation post for our Eunwoo, he’s come so far as an actor and impresses us every time! ik 2023 was pretty rough for him and his loved onesπŸ₯Ί. Truly hope 2024 he’s happy, they’re all doing much better and his solo songs does really well❀️

Will forever support you Dongminiee <3

  24. A good day to be a dog is finally over! We really went through a lot with all the postponements😭! This was such a fun and light drama but Bogyeom ssaem wanted to ruin it but failed lmao (still love Hyunwoo oppa anyways🀭). I’ll really miss Haena and Seowon ssaem, they were the cutest and adorable couple everπŸ₯Ί, their chemistry was everything! I’ll miss our Yul too, he was the cutest nephew ever, maybe a spin-off with him and Jia; I know I’m dreamingπŸ˜‚. Will miss Haena’s supportive family too! It’s a solid 8/10 for me! Thank you to the team, GoodbyeeeπŸ’—

  25. I enjoyed every single episode of this drama but I am glad it’s finally come to an end. It felt like forever to get here.
Did it leave some things unresolved: Yes
Did it feel like the ending was a bit rushed: Also, yes.
Did I enjoy it still: you’re damn right I did. 😊

  26. I like shows where the lead couple has a stable relationship, without a lot of turbulence, tears, drama and misunderstandings. And this was such a series. The chemistry between Eun Woo and Gyu Young is phenomenal and I hope to see them as partners again in some new drama. They all got their happy endings (even Mountain Spirit got off scot-free for so many ruined lives), but I have to admit that Yul and Ji A had a lot more chemistry than Ji A and Mountain Spirit. Along with her parents, Yul was one of my favorite characters who constantly brought a smile to my face, and today was no exception 😁😁πŸ₯° .

All in all, a nice, light drama that could have ended in 12 episodes, but it would have been even better if we watched two episodes a week. In this way, they would maintain continuity and the attention of a large number of viewers who, in such cases, give up until all the episodes are broadcast.
