Synopsis: Yuzu Hodaishi spends a year trying to secure a job before finally being hired by a food company in Meiwa. After being assigned to the PR department at the head office in Osaka, Yuzu is tasked with writing a magazine article for Meiwa Yogurt’s 50th anniversary. During her work, she becomes a fan of the bacteria lactobacillus bulgaricus which is mentioned in the novel she reads as part of her research. Unbeknownst to Yuzu, lactobacillus bulgaricus has come to life in the form of invisible presence, I, and is following her throughout her journey in Osaka.
