Synopsis: “Shinsengumi” follows Fukakusa Kyujuro and Kamagiri Daisaku, two young soldiers in the fictional Shinsengumi group. After Kyujuro’s father is killed, he joins the Shinsengumi to seek revenge and improve his sword skills. During the entrance exam, he meets Daisaku, a skilled newcomer. Despite forming a close friendship, the two are caught in a turbulent era and must eventually face the reality of having to fight each other. Based on Tezuka Osamu’s manga, the drama consists of 10 episodes, each lasting 30 minutes, and airs on Thursdays.
