  1. Achi always never says i love you back as he’s not ready, seeing him accept the proposal seems kind rushed and forced tbh

  2. This episode was adorable!! <3
Wish we got more of Min and Jinta.
    I really loved this series!

  3. We’ve come a long way with this one. This was a lovely epi.
I’ll miss the Karan character…Jinta is another character that got a reaction out of me….Kudos to everyone who worked on this.
    Cherry Magic (Thai), the end.

  4. Awww. that’s all I have to say for the final episode.

I did not expect this to be this good, considering the japanese version was one of my favs. I will not compare cause this show took the storyline and made it their own. The cultural adaptations were what made this one special in its own unique way. This is what you call an ADAPTATION DONE RIGHT

Both New and Tay took on the roles of Achi and Karan and made it their own. Especially Karan; it’s been I while since I’ve seen a character with this much sincerity and purity. The side plots, the side characters, little variations from the og, everything was done with dedication and it showed.

  5. Cherry Magic was the last of the 2023 shows I have been watching. There may be others still going on such as DFF, that I will get to later, but for now that closes the books on 2023 for me. So far there has been very little new stuff to watch. March may pick up a bit.

  6. I was reminded while watching this masterpiece as most have been calling it here, that Sing was in the first true Thai BL series, Lovesick. Albeit in a support role as he always is.

How far they have come in 10 years of Boy love in Thailand.

  7. #KaranAchi 💕

    Cherry Magic (10/10)
    Tay Tawan Vihokratana
    as Karan Wongkarun
    (July 30, 1991)
    New Thitipoom Techa-apaikhun
    as “Achi” Achirawit Jittawisut
    (January 30, 1993)

I saw the gate of Achi’s mom and the veranda… Was it the house of the main leads in “The Whisperer”? Speaking of it, when will episode 10 (final episode) will be released?

  8. Jinta had to be drunk to initiate the kiss and not be freaked out. Both of them were soo cute.
So..we are gonna leave at that he didn’t loose his powers or gonna tell him about it.

  9. Ahhh can’t believe we’ve reached the final episode 🥲 am not ready to say goodbye.

This was such a fun and lovely adaptation. I loved every minute of it. ✅💗🍒

    [Spoilers]

Now that Achi’s magic is gone, the true communication stage will start for them. 😌🍒 It’s a shame though it would have been hilarious to be able to read Karan’s mind while he was meeting the in-laws 🤣 that jump scare he had & it turned out to be 🎈 PRICELESS 🤣

Ngl this episode felt like they were meeting the final bosses 🤣 to unlock their love.

To have that trust build and grow without relying to that power, however, is more important. Achi has reached a new maturity level now. He is not only able to trust in Karan but in himself more than ever before, and both are able to support and love each other freely.

Rock has his number one fan, and Pai can fangirl all she wants in the office now 🤣

Min achieving his goals after hard work & perseverance 🙌 At the end of the day he has a Nº1 fæn too 🤭 Am glad his fans for instance acknowledge that and respected his privacy. Now this is how true fans should act like towards their idols. Above being celebrities, they also have private lives of their own and feelings. I am also proud of Min for telling the truth even when expecting some backlash & hate in return he chose to respect and trust in his fans. It’s an early stage of his debut and fame is such a tightrope to walk upon, one mistake and the string might snap and how big is the fall… He could have kept it a secret like most do, but that wouldn’t be fair neither to his own feelings nor to Jinta who was always an unconditional support even when he was trying to achieve his dream.

It was great to see both of them thrive in their passionate areas and have recognition.

Madam Noi was purrfect and deserves all the treats. Enough said.

The adapted cultural changes here and there within this plot, the development of the side characters and their contribution to the storyline & their bonds were great to behold. The dialogues and moral values presented in every situation being so relatable and inspiring. It all made this version be even more heartwarming. TayNew ship returning to BL after years was definitely a success, as it should be. 😌 They took their roles gracefully and made it their own. I love how New made Achi be so gentle and soft spoken with no need for exaggerated expressions as the story progressed. For that we had plenty with Jinta 🤣 1 is enough, 2 would be too much. Tay melted us all with his Karan, the greenest flag. Jan and Sing were so cute as Pai and Rock! The whole gang was so helpful and funny. All the cast did great. I can only praise them, the production team & everyone who made this possible.

  10. I am so happy to see this after DFF. Makes me rid of my frustration.

😆 The morning after, Achi checking to see if he really lost his virginity 🫢 I mean his power 🤭 😅

    👋 Oh stop ! 🤭

🎊 In the end, they got married and had their friends and families photos. 🥂🍾

The novelist and his idol got engaged 💍 no diamond but they inked their commitment rings onto each other fingers and sealed their occasion with a kiss.💋

Even Rock has a girlfriend. 👩🏻‍❤️‍💋‍👨🏻

🥂 And I am happy for their happy honeymoon ending. 🍒

  11. My favourite parts of this remake were:

    * Karan’s character – I think he has the softest sincerity of any bl character I’ve seen.

    * The boss’ character – I absolutely love how he sounds speaking Thai with a Japanese inflection. He may have had his shady moments but overall I think he really added to the great aesthetics/vibe of the show.

    * The high quality production – this isn’t something that is make or break for me but I enjoy when a show does it really, really well.

On a final note. When the parents in a bl series accept their son’s sexuality. No matter how it plays out (clumsily, tone deaf or paying lip service) I always cut the writers some slack because I feel the parents’/family acceptance is something that is necessary to show even if it’s not delivered as smoothly as I would like.

This is why I’d like to give this series props for how they did their version of this. The line spoken by Achi’s mum,“Seeing you happy makes me happy” is how you do a scene like that. It’s spoken with pure love. There’s no hint of ’I’m accepting you because I have to’ trope. There’s no hint of ‘I’m accepting you because it’s 2024 and I don’t want to come across as a dinosaur.’ There’s no hint of ’backhanded acceptance where they think they’re being forward thinking but the words they use are low-key insulting.’ Just a mother’s pure love and no-strings-attached acceptance and happiness seeing her own son’s love and happiness. It comes across as really genuine. I’m straight and this is how I would like my mother and father to embrace my relationship with the person I love. The contrast between Achi and Karan’s parents’ reactions was also explored really well. Karan’s mum’s passive acceptance being pointed out as not real acceptance (the writers were so real for that) and the sister not letting it slide, was such an important conversation to have.👌

  12. Now this is a lovely ending
Simply delicious I loved this entire series 10/10
They took someone else’s story and made it their own. Job well done.

  13. A little sad to see this end. This was a great story for TayNew to portray. It was nice seeing them together, it reminded me why I loved them so much when I got into this genre.

  14. An excellent, brilliant and lovely adaptation of the original source. Truly did not want it to end, but they had covered everything from the manga til the author writes a new story for them.

    P.S. How cute is this:

Thai adaptation covers for each episode being synonymous with the volume covers for the original manga source!

  15. Amazing adaptation! I think it’s my favorite one for sure, and it’s become one of my comfort series, I’ll definitely be rewatching this one many times in the future!!
Loved everything about it!! I was worried for a second that they would skip over Karan’s mom being a bit slow on the uptake, but they took their own spin on it and I really loved that, it was very sweet when she finally accepted Karan and they hugged it out.
Rock’s hairstyle at the wedding ceremony made him look so good! And Jinta without his glasses!!
I loved everything about how the series wrapped up, and if there’s ever more content for Cherry maagic I hope they come back for more episodes, some extras maybe, perhaps some crumbs for us hungry folks? lol
    🍒🍒🍒🍒🍒 10/10 🍒🍒🍒🍒🍒

  16. This adaptation truly is one for the books. THIS IS HOW YOU DO AN ADAPTATION. This series was soo cute, and each couple had their moment to shine. Omgs im going to miss my Saturday night bl. Almost cried tbh 😂 1000/10. No notes, the pacing, the chemistry, the cinematography, everything!!

  17. Definitely the superior version only because they took something that was already GOOD and made it even BETTER. The cultural nuances, cinematography , directing and acting – couldn’t complain about a single thing!!
How wholesome was that proposal ~~~ Narakkkkk!!!!

PS: Some of the newer BL pair needs to learn that if there is an ACT in actors, then it’s TayNew!!!

  18. Cherry Magic Thailand is the Greatest of all time!!!
The today’s episode was a mix of everything:
    * Professionally * Romantically *Family
And It wasn’t heavy at all!
The consistency of this series was maintained from start to finish.
Every little detail that could have been trivial and unnoticed in another series, has been noted here.
I loved the Director’s little wink regarding The Pen, which was an important element for the Japanese lead actors.
In here, it was used by JINTA ET MIN in a very Simple and Romantic way at the same time!
TAYNEW: The fact that they Have strong bonds of friendship in real life, they were able to bring Achi/Karan in LIFE. This is probably why they are
    A WINNING DUO!!!
BYE BYE I hope to see them very soon in other adventures…

  19. Such a lovely adaptation. Tay and New really did it justice. So sad to see it end 😭

  20. For me, personally, there’s no comparison between this Thai adaptation and the Japanese one. They both stand on their own with their distinctive cultural nuances with the storyline, acting, direction, etc. I loved both of them for their individual charm. For me, the only aspect that was the same was the plotline of a 30 yr old virgin that can hear the thoughts of whomever they touch with physical contact. The aspect I liked more in this adaptation is that all the characters got more screentime and I got to understand them more. Pai and Rock were a delightful addition… It was wonderful to see TayNew again and see how much they’ve grown since their early days. It was a ship I didn’t expect to see sailing again in sea waters. Congrats to the whole cast and crew!👏 I absolutely loved this!💖 I miss them already!😭
P.S. My takeaway… You can inspire people no matter who you’re. And that sometimes someone notices you even if you don’t notice them noticing you. Believe in yourself❣️ Be brave and open to new experiences. Try new things and don’t let what you see people do and act dictate how you see yourself. There are surprises in all of us. Things you don’t expect. Karan helped Achi come out of his shell, see his worth/ potential and dare to see possibilities outside himself. Achi helped Karan realize his romantic goals and could finally be his true self in front of his parents, gaining their open, genuine acceptance. Our side couples also helped each other grow as individuals with love and support…❤️‍🩹
No one is perfect but I believe most people have potential and value.

  21. SPOILER… Man, am I bummed this comfort series is over bc from start to finish it was
    🥰🎈🥰🍭🥰🎉
There were cheesy and unbelievable moments during this finale, like the no dating ban at work uplifted and the fans just being ok with Jinta and saying to Min to tell them when he was ready to about their relationship but for some reason it worked for me🫠 I especially liked that even tho Min was warned not to come out with scandal and drama before debuting, he said, I don’t care I’m going to be true to myself and the person I love and tell everyone. That was brave. I also loved that when he suddenly shared the limelight with Jinta when some fans recognized him, he wasn’t jealous but proud🫶👍
I loved the, ‘Say I love you’ in Northern Thai part. It was SO Karan to ask for that. His head still exploding in elation, I’m sure🤯 Lolol😂🤣 Loved the led lights sign. I’m so going to do that sometime😁
I absolutely loved all the points Karan’s sis made to their mom. GOLD!!!💖 More parents need to hear facts like that when it comes to their kid’s sexuality and unconditional, real acceptance👏 When Karan said,
that truly broke my heart bc you know that’s the thinking and feeling he’s had all this time – that he’s letting his parents down for not loving the gender they approve of and trying to overcompensate in other ways. I’m glad the parents told everyone in the way they saw fit online than with the gossiper twisting facts on her own accord in relaying that info.😏
The most casual marriage proposal and acceptance. And it was just perfect🙌 The surprise dual marriage proposal by Achi was unexpected and just the best🤧 Gotta love this drunk approach too. Lol🤣🤣 Tho it would have been nice to see Jinta lose his magical powers too. Or did I miss a scene?🤔 Maybe we’ll have a special ep or spin-off just for them🙏 Anyways, the proposal and wedding scenes weren’t too much and it felt believable. I even loved that the wedding bouquet didn’t land on an expected couple like Pai, Jinta or Min. Small details that made a big impression throughout this series. Less is more sometimes! ❤️
