Synopsis: Ban Shu is the daughter of Ban Chao, the governor of the Western Lands. As a child, she was separated from her parents and grew up in the steppe. To meet her father, she travels to the Eastern Han capital. However, his father dies before she arrives and to be accepted by his family, she enters the palace to learn noble lady etiquette. Her lack of understanding for the Han culture causes a stream of comedic ruckus, but at the same time her unconventional ways breaks up the dullness of learning. She meets her co-worker Wei Ying and falls in love with him. Wei Ying’s missing fiancé suddenly appears and he has a difficult choice to make.
