Based on the beautiful romantic fable from the Joseon Period concerning a fisherman who catches a mermaid in his net but lets her free. And they both fall in love.

The Heirs has a wonderful plot that revolves around friendships, enemies and relationships. The leader is Kim Tan played by Lee Min Ho and his partner named Cha Eun Sang played by Park Shin Hye. However, Cha Eun-Sang is from a normal lower middle class background.

Her life is filled with pain and tragedy. Her mother is mute. One day she gets a call from her sister who stays in the US. I am a Filipino professor at Bohol Island State Univ. Philippines. At my age, 37, I never expect to feel like back in my teenage life. But then just months ago when I started watching almost all of Lee Min Ho’s k.drama, I feel like I am a teenager again who gets attracted to this Korean actor. I smile, laugh and cry whenever I watch his dramas which I never have felt in other k.dramas i have viewed. He is a great actor. He acts his role well that is why I am always carried away in all his acting. Congrats my idol Lee Min Ho. I will always be your avid fan. More success in yout career.

Perhaps, you might want to watch other K actor. Try Lee Jin Wook. If you have spare time, check his few dramas. Someday 2006, I Need Romance 2012, Nine: 9 Times Time Travel, Goodbye Mr Black, Voice 2 and 3, and many more.

Cristina, age has nothing to do with appreciating the work of others. I started watching Asian dramas because I needed to understand why my daughter was so into them. I started with Korean dramas, then I moved to Chinese, Japanese, and Thai. Watching the dramas help me to understand and appreciate other cultures and discover their similarities with mine. I am a Nigerian lady based in the U.S. I not only watch British dramas like before, but I also watch all sorts of dramas now and love all sorts of actors based on their work. I will recommend my favorite Chinese dramas of all time: Ten miles of Peach Bloom (Eternal love), Ashes of Love, and Love and Redemption. My first recommendation is my Asian Pride and Prejudice (British Drama) which I have seen several times but its like new every time I watch it.
