  1. This drama started off good and then devolved into utter garbage.
Like, the main female lead became an irritating Mary Sue who just had this uncanny ability of knowing everything. Somehow she goes from security officer to leading a special investigative unit. It’s so dumb! She was a rude “woe is me” character that failed to see the suffering of others just because of what happened to her dad. I don’t understand why the writers made her this weird “love like” interest for Prosecutor Kang. That irked me to no end. Detective Ji Soo is completely dismissed into being a bystander, until after the underground station incident. Then all of a sudden, she becomes Prosector Kang’s “most cherished” person. Garbage!
There’s a lot in the writing that was just illogical. For example, why didn’t An just return to his old apartment and practise his abilities there until he got coherent readings? Also, when they go in search of Prosecutor Kang in the apartment building, why is Yoon Jae In allowed to search the 15th floor alone? Shouldn’t she have backup? Also, she checks unit 1507 and then conveniently remembers that he’s in unit 1501 but this begs the question – how did she know he was going to be on the 15th floor if she didn’t recall him mentioning unit 1501? I mean, they went from unit 701 and ran after An who disappeared up the myriad staircases. How did she guess he was either going to be the on 15th floor or the rooftop? Why didn’t she work her way down from 1507 if she had forgotten the unit number, or just start from 1501 if she recalled the memory of the interrogation?
There are far too many instances in this kind of jump in logical. It’s ridiculous. This drama tried way too hard to be thought-provoking, but ended up predictable and silly.
The only couple I kind of enjoyed was the best friend (although I don’t think that girl he’s BEEN crushing on is worth it). I also really liked the female detective, Ji Soo. She was the only character I actually cared for after episode 8. Her reasoning skills made plausible sense. She’s the only one who came across as an actual human being rationalising facts before them. Everyone else, has some special gift that enables them to come to conclusions in unrealistic ways. For An, it’s understandable because he’s the MC and the drama is literally about his powers. For everyone else, it’s just ridiculous.
