  1. OMG, their acting is superb, and I think kam chan and the father of the future queen are all aiming for the betterment of the nation, but taking the right step at the right time is now the issue, I haven’t chosen any side yet, just waiting to see how everything unfolds.

  5. The Queen wants to ruin Kamchan and the King’s relationship….

    Lady Kim(The future Queen) mostly supports the war against Khitans so she’ll take Kamchan’s side soon, but King Hyeonjong doesn’t trust Kang Kamchan that much compared to her father who treats the King as an Emperor and not a puppet like the region lords.

    Next episode is pretty much the war of two queens.

  6. Ha ah, this is really painful. The emperor is struggling so much in what he believes should be the right thing for the country, upholding best policies to build the country. However, his subordinates think otherwise. And to top it all, his empress, not supporting his ideas and her father? feels he/ the vassals should take half of the power off him so that he is not in complete control…would you believe that?

    This is really reigniting my desire to learn Korean History!! I wish this bad boy was taught in my school, many many, mmmmmaaannny years ago! 😁

  10. The Emperor is really struggling with imposing/implementing his new policy, without any support from his ministers.

    I understand why the Queens were not allowed to meddle with the court politics. Now she will put the things back as they were.

    I can’t wait for the new Empress to join the harem. She is the only one to support him with her father.

    I wonder what would happen if the Kithans start another war right at this moment of internal strife and chaos.
