Synopsis: ‘Convenience Store Saetbyeol’ is a comic romance drama about a former employee of a large company, decides to quit his job and open his own store. He looks to hire a part-time worker to work the night shift at his store. One day, a girl named Jung Seth Byul comes to his store and soon starts to work there. Jung Seth Byul has her secrets and a past that she wants to forget. She believes that a new place, a new job will help her in this.

  1. I think it’s not bad, but it is true that action and serious dramas suits Ji Chang Wook better. As an actor he is excellente and if he chose this, it’s his decision and he probably liked it for something and that’s why I won’t judge. x)

  2. I think episode 4 was the best episode until now and every episode, this drama gets only better. I am happy I trusted in Ji Chang Wook and watched this drama. I look forward to main leads getting closer. They are so cute together. Apart from that, reference to Fiery Priest was good (the part with rhyme). Also, enmity between the manager’s friend and part timer’s friend is funny.

  3. Is this worth watching? I’m not really into silly slapstick romcom anymore. I love JCW, he’s an great actor. You can totally see him shine in Empress Ki and Healer! But that doesn’t mean I will watch anything him on it, suspicious partner was ok (he had great chemistry with Nam Ji Hyun) but Melting me softly was horrible lol. I heard the manhwa of this drama is very offensive and sexist, objectify the heroine. I’m not a feminist really, but still I’d like the female lead have more to her, not only for being sexy. I know , it won’t go as far as the manhwa when it comes to “dirty” stuff (because you know, this is kdrama we are talking about after all lol) … but, uhmm.., yeah

  4. A word for people thinking of watching this drama,
    Forget you ever read that webton,
    Forget the real ages of leads,

    Speaking from experience, i haven’t read webtoon, but heard a lot about it, and it made my opinion biased, on every scene i kept getting anxious maybe something x-rated is coming now, but it doesn’t. After you let go of above mentioned things, you still don’t like the drama, then its ok.

  5. Absolutely love Ji Chang Wook and was looking forward to his pairing with Kim Yoo Jung. But their drama sadly didn’t hook me in like I thought it would. I may come back to it once it’s finished airing.

  12. I really like this drama series.. I’m very excited to watch the upcoming episodes.. I hope that the ending would be more satisfying.. a lot of series especially kdrama had a slow impact on their endings.. I hope this one would do the difference….

  18. MELTING ME WASN’T A GOOD DRAMA.. BUT BACKSTREET ROOKIE IS ..ALTHO ITS NOT LIKE HIS OTHER EPICS LIKE HEALER/K2.. BUT AT ITS PLACE ITS REALLY GOOD
