5. Old Xie’s statement represent the general view of Noble families, who despise people with poor background. They will never allow people with humble backgrounds take the throne. Thus, they despise young Pei. Yet, the noble families are not aware Su RongQing is supporting Concubine Rou and her son, to the throne.

7. If Su came back from the future too, does that mean he also died on the same night as the Princess and her husband? If so I wonder how. Did he kill himself out of guilt for killing his “love” for his “family” or was he murdered by another secret villain who we don’t know about yet. Either way I am interested in knowing how he died.

   As for his love for the Princess…. it’s the kind of love she doesn’t need. He wants to control her, limit her power and keep her out of politics in order to keep her safe.

   Her husband on the other hand wants her to accomplish her dreams even if they put her in danger because he knows he will always be there to protect her from any harm.

   With the Princess’s personality it is clear which man she will choose.

11. I wonder how Su Rongqing died. Judging by his feelings for Li Rong, there might be more to her death in the past. He wants to protect her right now, but he killed her in the past? It doesn’t make sense, but I am still yet to know.
    But even though I’m doubting Li Rong’s death, I am still fully convinced that Su Rongqing was behind Li Rong’s death.
    I hope Li Rong will not get swayed by Su Rongqing’s feelings😭 I don’t care if he has good intentions or not.

    And also, if Su is a regressor, which mean, this is the Su that meticulously poisoned the princess for long period of time, while acting loyal and kind to her, while manipulating her to hate Pei. The evil Su.

14. if the princess was able to tell after just one encounter with pei wx that he’s also living a 2nd life, she should be able to know for sure that su is too by now, they were even closer, and su ain’t hiding like that.
    my main problem with su apart from his superior attitude is that I detest what the princess is like when she’s around him. she’s like a duller, slower vs of herself, she even talks less too and like to hell with that, and to those 17 yrs with him that won’t stop dragging her down!
