  1. After seeing them go at it again I’m more settled with with my observations/ first impression of what they were trying to say to each other in last episode’s heated exchange. She really was taking things too personal and with her closed personality accustomed to being praised for her impressive track record, she could not receive critiques well. This was the very same attitude she first approached Pyo with. JunHo is forward thinking, idealistic and just too blunt with his words that he got ahead of himself in explaining his points to her. If he didn’t say what he had to say right then and there he knew he wouldn’t get another opportunity because she is very defensive and literally would hide to avoid the discussion, lol. But it was an important discussion to have seeing now that her work has been compromised. I also think JunHo bringing up of her future was more out of concern than being meddlesome as he obviously wants great things for her and clearly intends to further his relationship with her. Afterall, he’s not just ‘someone’ in her life.

But better than round 2 of that argument, its her bestie, her husband and Pyo that absolutely stole the show for me. Especially the bestie sipping on that wine like it was tea, her reactions and Pyo’s had me cracking up🀣🀣🀣

  2. Today’s episode is the best so far. I had this nostalgic feeling all through and i felt satisfied at the end. Idk if anyone noticed but we were shown what “the beauty of learning” looks like. Anyone who undertakes it can never be found wanting. Learning is a gradual process of unraveling the unknown and in the process broaden our understanding, our senses of perception. I ll be honest, such methodology is becoming quite obsolete as we live in an Era where result is priotized above process, false feeling above truth(facts).
Jun ho will always be Junho. Stubborn as he maybe I believe it is one of his endearing qualities. Teacher Pyo is a bit of an introvert. If you try to dissect his feelings, u ll see a barrage of emotion therein. Yet he looks like someone who is unfriendly. When u live in an environment where your sense of reasoning/perception is different from others, you ll behaving somewhat like Mr Pyo. I hope that today’s episode has vindicated him.

  3. Hyejin and Junho continuing their discussion with Mr. Pyo awkwardly there was hilarious. HAHAHAHAHA let the poor man go!! But I’m also glad he stayed coz I knew Mr. Pyo was gonna support what Junho said. But damn…Junho confidently saying he won’t fail was both annoying and impressive. XD But I also know he wouldn’t? He may be arrogant AF but he’s always got the skills and determination to back him. Even if it fails, he wouldn’t stop there. He wouldn’t think of giving up. He’ll think of another route to get to that same destination instead. And that’s what I’m really impressed about him.

But I really love how Hyejin and Junho eventually came to agree with each other after the fight, though Junho eventually won. Lol. I like that Hyejin didn’t decide to change her ways right away and she still believed in it. But she also wasn’t that against Junho’s idea anymore. Hyejin and Junho always manage to talk things out and learn to understand each other. That’s what I really like about their relationship. This is also part of them getting closer together and building a stronger bond. To me, this is more romantic, and it’s not easy to be like this in a relationship. It’s so nice to see them talking and smiling at each other again. <3

I’m not good at studying literature, no matter the language, but Mr. Pyo’s lecture was really quite interesting. I would’ve chosen his lecture over Hyejin’s for sure. But after seeing Junho’s lecture, even though it was only 5 mins of the beginning, I was hooked. As someone who found it a torture trying to pay attention in class, Junho’s approach was FUN. I actually hope we’d get to see a bit of his class like we did for Mr. Pyo’s. Haha

And can the vice director Ms. Woo just go? She’s just pathetic to me. The lies she kept telling Hyejin about Mr. Kim stabbing Hyejin’s back, as if she didn’t just stab Hyejin as well, got me rolling my eyes. Hyejin ain’t stupid either and she definitely pretended to consider just so Junho’s class could be approved. But ugh, that preview, I wonder who’s the freaking snitch. I don’t think Hyejin and Junho will break up though. I trust that their relationship is strong enough to overcome it together. Hyejin isn’t someone who will shy away and Junho ain’t gonna let a breakup happen because of a stupid “scandal”.

But I love how this episode ended with such a great comeback from Hyejin—“I don’t treasure this anymore.” *mic drop

  4. I CALLED IT YALLL 😩😩😩
I knew her colleague had a crush on her and had even mentioned it!!!!
What now? The colleague is really cute 😩😩

Also, will we get a Siwoo and Hayul ship? πŸ‘€
I know they’re just kids but u know, did the writers really put them in an elevator together for no apparent reason??

  5. Today’s episode, truly beautiful. Showed a lot of stuff with a lot of perception.
Firstly, I’m really glad with Mr. Pyo. He’s come a long way. He acknowledged his wrong doings, apologised for them, and then also learned to accept it and make do with it. Becoz, there’s no reason wallowing in the past. And now, he’s rectifying himself. All that in such a short span of time while being watched by many, is something to appreciate about.
Speaking about him, his free lecture was actually really good. The way he taught, no wonder students actually liked his classes back in the highschool too. If I was a student, I would definitely sign up for his class. Overall, I really liked his character development the most. Becoz I got to see a lot of his personality in this episode. The “Oh My God” too πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Secondly, I agree with the lawyer frnd’s husband. I don’t know much about the korean education system or the KSAT exam, what I do know and understand however, is Jun Ho’s ideology. It was in many ways similar to Mr. Pyo’s. His way of teaching, like he said, would be remembered by the student his whole life. Becoz that’s how you truly learn. I’d said this before too, learning isn’t just memorising stuff with tricks. You enjoy it, understand it, and empathise with it. Especially when the subject is a language. But at the same time, I also understood why the VD turned down his offer. Recruiting him for it would not only show blatant favouritism but also disrespect towards the other lecturers. But I’m still glad Hye Jin cleverly pulled the strings for it to work out for him.

Lastly, Seo Hye Jin. Last week’s episodes were obvious on how she was wrong and flawed, and also how she was slowly starting to change. It was this change that she was resisting today but at the same time, did see the ideology as something to be trusted upon. She’s taking the overall change hard, but I’m sure with Jun Ho by her side, they’ll manage it together.
Speaking of Lee Jun Ho, this guy can really be so naive and innocent sometimes. When they were yet again arguing in the restaurant, what did he say again? “Spend a long life together”?? Wahhh, no wonder they all snickered and even cringed a bit lmao πŸ˜‚. He dives straight into stuff which is a bit opposite of what Hye Jin does, but that’s also part of his charm πŸ˜‚

  6. I think that English teacher copied Hye jin’s teaching materials. He might’ve seen jun ho and her together, got jealous and did this as a revenge

  7. Why did the argument ended just like that. The intense argument should have end with a resolve and more mature communication. He just took her to the beach and she says do what ever you want to do. It’s like a mom getting tired of conversation and gives permission to the kid to keep a pet. Idk maybe this is how they wanted to portray age gap.

  8. Look at Mr. Pyo’s face when Jun Ho came at Hye Jin ha-ha! He is not a fool, he picked up that both were in a relationship beyond that of student-teacher LoL.

Not all things right mean one can make money off of it..”
While principles are nice, survival is more important. Jun Ho is too idealistic. Stubborn as well.

Hopefully Hye Jin, Jun Ho, Mr. Pyo, Ms. Nam with Sung Gyu’s mom can start their own academy. Maybe rope in cutie Mr. Yoon too eheh.

Si Woo.. Ha Yul eheh..πŸ‘‰πŸΌπŸ‘ˆπŸΌπŸ’œ The White Haired Witch’s grimace when she was at Mr. Pyo’s free lecture. She looks like she had regrets LoL.

Mr. Pyo’s free lecture was er quite “interesting“😁 as he would say, “ohmygod“.😭🀣

  9. This week’s episodes have been really enjoyable, at least for me. In the words of Mr. Pyo, “Oh my God!” πŸ˜… I honestly never expected that he would turn into a character I’ll be so invested in the story arc of, but here we are. The way he has had a 180Β° shift in his perspective and approach has been interesting to say the least. Seeing his 1st lecture as an academy instructor, I could feel his passion for the subject. He finally felt liberated to be able to teach how he wanted.

I know Junho’s idea is idealistic, but I wanted him to give it a go. Their heated discussion (for the 2nd time) is something I have things to say about though. That was not the place for them to go at it like that. Even I was feeling awkward and uncomfortable for Mr. Pyo and HJ’s friends, though it ended on a somewhat lighter note than the 1st time. Especially Junho, he can not just challenge her teaching like that only because now he thinks otherwise. He doesn’t always have to take it to such a high tangent in order to show how he’s right.

  10. Its my personal preference not an general stand but I don’t like Jun ho talking about so hye jin’s future in the argument and also just lashing out on the school teacher before knowing what’s going on. Personally I wouldn’t like someone interfering in my affairs even if he’s my boyfriend. And he keeps forgetting he’s in a professional setting where he is her colleague. If he keeps bringing his personal feelings in a formal argument, so hye jin might think he’s immature.
