  1. I want more but never have I wanted to smack the sh*t out of someone so bad. Maybe Boston (Only Friends), but Ming is right up there!!!! At least this time he isn’t hiding his intentions and flat out told Joe he wanted him to be a stand-in. Joe doesn’t deserve all this, he just keeps getting knocked back to the same position. I can’t look at Tong anymore, going to have to rewatch Star and Sky just to remember I don’t hate him!!!!!

  2. I can’t stand MING seriously
and JOE & JOE 2.0 both making the same mistakes.
Boy you really need to learn to take STAND IN your own life first-

  3. honestly if new joe becomes stand in for ming…then all these episodes will lost their meaning (remember how he lost his life) just like back to square one. I dont actually like ming…his character is toxic…if writers are lower level writer then they will just waste our time by making him work for ming…Their is no actual love maybe obsession, lust. They are hooking audience with some forceful kiss, s*x seen(ofcourse some beasts in human clothing like this type of scenes cause this type of abuse not happening to them. what does it matter if its racey enough ) But these types of drama makes me wonder sometime when some fans like this type of story what will they do if their life becomes like these drama where their partner is just like ming.. though in tv it looks good or maybe to some people sensual but I bet in real life nobody wants to live their life with a person like ming or similar to like ming’s character.

  4. Ming be joining my list of people I’d like to smack before I die. The minute Jo ran to block the car I just internally screamed at him. There’s his manager willing to help, there’s Sol offering a solution, idk why he’s being such a fool! Is he a masochist in the novel??

  5. Okay, Ming haters. Could we agree that Up Poompat is doing a tremendous job making us hate Ming?

  6. Ming is Ming, nothing is changed.
Old Joe is New Joe, nothing is changed. No lessons learned at all.

  7. All Joe wants is to settle his mom’s hospital bills, pay off the debt and also help her live a comfortable life. And Ming took advantage of his situation ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ

  8. As I said after the first issue with Ming, Joe is as obsessed as Ming was with Tong and now with Joe 1.0. Joe could get help from his manager and Sol would give him all he needs cause he is als interested in 2.0. But nooooo, Joe takes the hard way again although he knows it will be his hell. While Ming moved on from Tong to Joe … Joe did not move on to a better love and avoiding Ming. Money is only his excuse beeing with Ming. But his heart wants to get was his heart belongs. 1 year slavery will turn into passionate obsession and both are going to kill themselves with secretly emotions and tantrums till giving in. Honestly, when I was young and poor I wished somebody helped me out for good. But of course there was nobody with good intensions so I did not sell myself. I did overvome 10 years by my own efforts… poor me. ๐Ÿ˜ชPoor Joe.

  9. Why did I feel humiliated….??๐Ÿ˜… Some people can’t change and it’s true Joe and Ming are prime example showing true colours ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚…
This episode is has major point for story build up….
But I have one question is all the banks and banks loans are vanished from world …??
Is their is only tong who need stunt man in industry is he only actor???is their only p wut company???

Joe 1 should first learn about Joe 2 like what he used to do what type of friends he does have …about his life …

Joe be like yes in previous life I stepped on shit and die ….this life I am again going to step on shit and enjoy…๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  10. I’m starting the episode with the hope that wandee goodday will be there to help me cope if there’s stuff I’ll need copying with.

  11. My head: joe runnnn runnnn away from minggggg

btw he is still doing the stupidest things again in this new body as well, his decision making is Nil ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿป๐Ÿ•ณ
He should have taken money from his non toxic friend who is a green flag and removed Ming from his life but NOOOOOOOOOO he wants to get in to that mess once again to experience more harm! ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Just 3 words .. Joe is STUPID! ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ

  12. oooh my days!!! where do we even start!!!

I love! love! love! the way they keep showing why the series is titled stand-in. Whoever wrote this deserves all the flowers!

Poor Joe, the guy can’t catch a break….but can we say he at least doesn’t have to kill himself with work but staying with Ming might be a more worse fate.

  13. I may feel a deep, ongoing resentment towards Ming, but…I love this drama!

The thing that makes me the most disgusted is not Ming, but rather that there are healthcare systems throughout this world that charge patients and their families an arm and a leg (sometimes literally, if you factor in loan sharks!) for treating illnesses. I just think it’s so barbaric to have someone’s life depend on whether or not they’ve got enough money in their bank account.

I really have no idea how this is going to end, but I look forward to every week. This is such an intriguing story, with so many twists and turns. This drama and Wandee Goodday are really giving me life at the moment!

  14. The lack of accountability on Ming’s part is so un-fucking-believable. Making it hard for me to see his supposed “love” as nothing but a toxic obsession. I wish Tong would show him some affection and the two off them live toxically ever after. Sorry to the sister in that scenario.

Sol is such a normie and I would totally want him with Joe. But Joe seems to have a humiliation kink because nothing else explains him walking right into hell with his eyes open.

Reactions aside, I really like this BL. Easily in my top 5 for the year. So far.

  15. Ming and the lackey who follows him like a shadow give me high blood pressure, just looking at their faces! And this Ming with his butt face who thinks that all males belong to him! he behaves the same way as with the old Jo. And JO, who has no personality and his balls disappear in front of Ming! Even if in this episode, his goal is to keep Ming away from his home, it is clear that he has learned nothing from what happened to him and how toxic Ming is for him! He refuses SOL’s help but agrees to be an object to Ming for 1 year under the pretext of wanting to get his mother out of poverty??? who do you think you’re Fooling JO? “Sol Please don’t fall for this guy , he can’t be saved!!! you deserve better!”

  16. Ming and his red flag self making Joe the bestest green flag in the land a stand in again and I have to wait another week. This calls for ice cream and rage ranting.

  17. Joe is now a stand-in for himself. My heart aches for him.

The current Joe might think that Ming can’t get Tong who is already his bro in law so he is trying to find someone similar to the original Joe. The old or the new Joe, they are the stand-in of Tong anyway. Ming now knows that he loves Joe but the scars he left for Joe is too deep that Joe seems like he won’t forgive Ming anytime soon –

It is good that I read the novel first. If not, I think I will mince Ming in the comment section every time I see him xD

  18. This episode shows Joe fell back to an unavoidable miserable life, step by step. Desperate for money to pay off debt, and now mom has an incurable disease but not hopelessly only very costly to keep her alive.

๐Ÿชค Feels like he’s trapped. Unavoidable mountain of debts. Ming is onto him. Sol sees similarity in the Joes. Tong just found another stand-in that he could take advantage of but not give credit. That despicable secretary Jim dumped his burden onto Joe and left.

I must not be the only one, who for the first time in the history of bl released, finds the MC’s kisses repulsive. ๐Ÿคข
๐Ÿคฏ What!!! standing in for his self!?
๐Ÿ˜ญ We could only helplessly watch Joe’s falling into a bottomless rabbit hole.

  19. <—current expression on my face
I am SORRY… but I am slightly finding it hard to defend Joe at this point. Like yes, I know circumstances are not looking too good for you. But what do you mean – A SUGAR BABY/ BOY TOY…!!!?

If it was ANY OTHER PERSON, I would have been happy and thrown a party for you.. because YAS get your COINS!!!

But with MI–mthfckin’–NG…?!!! Nah, I don’t think so… ESPECIALLY when to you, JOE, it has not really been that long when you were in such precarious situation with him!

Joe is the personification of “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.”

JOE! Stop being a STAND-IN and STAND UP for yourself!!!

How are you getting played by the same people in your SECOND LIFE?!

And next episode is when Ming starts connecting dots that maybe, just maybe – he had been in love with the back of Joe all along and not Tong, thus his first love was wrongfully misplaced…

I know this is not technically a revenge plot story, but man, I really want a several episodes of the truth revealed with Ming doing nothing but groveling and snot-nose, crying and begging Joe. But at the pace and rate the episodes are going, we may get a rush sequence in the last two or so episodes.

Smh… That is not gonna be enough groveling for me!

  20. Oh no, character Ming is getting worse and making me to hate him the more. I may be weird but I’m loving it too much!

But for Joe, give the man a break! What not in the hands of Ming again…So he is also a stand in for himself in the hands of Ming! Just because he is so money strapped, What a life, when mum waited for him to wake up, spent all her money and now it is her turn to be ill and no money in the coffer!

  21. Puts Ming in a jar, studies him, shakes him, studies him again.

Me, waiting for the crematorium: Are we there yet?

Next ep (making this up) – Joe sneezes and Ming has deja vu all over again

Joe being a stand in for himself because it’s not Tong that Ming is thinking about anyways.

  22. Joe sold himself for 5 million baht and a house ๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿ˜ญ Life was extremely cruel to Joe previously and now too ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ It seemed that he couldn’t even have time to breathe. He had to find money to pay the $3 million baht debt (resorted to become Jerk Tong’s stand-in again) and now, he still had to get more money for mom’s dialysis. He officially became his own stand-in after selling himself for a year to Ming. It makes perfect sense now why this series is called “My Stand-In”. But Joe still thought that Ming treated him as Tong’s stand-in. What did Ming mean by “Get used to it. A year from now, there’ll be more to come?” Did it mean that he would not let Joe go even after one year? ๐Ÿค” I am not a violent person, but i really feel like ๐Ÿ‘Š Ming for making Joe feel like ๐Ÿ’ฉ at the last scene. Why did Joe kiss Ming back? He should just not move his mouth. This is the first time I want a dead fish kiss from a character.

Poor mom too. She had waited so long for her son to wake up and now, she was diagnosed with such illness. But it was fortunate that she had Joe with her, even though Joe was not her son. I hope she would never get to know that her son was gone. It would be too cruel to her.

By the way, this scene made me ๐Ÿ˜… Secretary Jim ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™‰ hurriedly left after seeing Ming ๐Ÿ’‹ Joe on the sofa. He must be thinking “I need to pretend I didn’t see and hear anything” ๐Ÿคญ

  23. Its moving along nicely but I’m still worried if they’ll get all the important stuff in the next 6 eps. So far I think it would’ve been better to have had at least four more eps.
