Synopsis: Kamiya Seiji is a pottery craftsman living alone in a mountain village. His son, Kamiya Gaku, works as an engineer in Algeria and visits his father with his fiance Nadia. Gaku wishes to quit his job and become a pottery craftsman like his father, but Seiji opposes the idea.
Marcos, a Brazilian man living in Japan and a neighbor of Seiji, was once helped by Seiji when chased by a criminal gang. Marcos sees a lot of his late father in Seiji and becomes interested in making pottery. Later, tragedy befalls Gaku and Nadia who had returned to Algeria.
