What a tragedy … marriage was the way to do deals back then (and even today in some places) … women were more often than not just commodities for exchange … but still poor Ye Ding Zhi had first rights … his heart is shattered 💔and his ability to turn the situation around has been well and truly crippled … he is only too aware how politics and power games relegate people to the grave or to a role they cannot get out of … this tragic experience will be a total game changer for him … it was like the last straw … I so hate it when scumbags get the upper hand, which they seem to do with alarming regularity.

   Dong Jun is just as gutted … the horrible hollow haunted look on his face that he couldn’t help his BFF, that he could stand for what was right for the original engagement between his friends but had to bow to the game of politics. So terribly sad,

   And Daddy Bailie … man he just dusted Dong Jun and Sikon like that were gnats or something … talk about flying under the martial arts radar.

2. I can’t help but cry for Ye Dingzhi.. they stole everything from him. So what if they want to team up with shadow sect, go make a deal.. why involve marriage, why the girl. So brutal, the royal family is so selfish.. the king killed his friends who supported him to throne, the princes are planning to kill each other and doing things which only benefit themselves. You didn’t stand with him, thats it .. I dislike ruofeng a bit now.. And nobody cares about what the girl wants ..

4. This ep was so brutal I can’t believe what I just watched. I’m questioning parents of TBOY cast 😄 what a mess in Dashing Youth!!
   I kept thinking Yun and Wenjun’s child is Wu Xin and Xiao Ruo Feng/Prince Lan Ya’s son is Xiao Se.. tsk tsk

5. That is So messed up. He wasn’t even marrying for to be his wife. He had a wife already, she was just going to be his concubine. I really thought DingZhi was going to make it somehow. I also thought DongJu and ChangFeng had gotten stronger and enough to take on most of anything. Turns out they still got a ways to go. DingZhi has to learn some new skills, what he knows now is too much of a double edge sword. He would have died and all of it would have been for nothing. What the hell happen to ChangFeng? Did they left him behind?!?
