  2. I really have to commend Hua Zhi for her understanding nature with Yanxi. If it was another drama, there would be arguments and fights about how he doesn’t keep in touch or come to see her, but when they meet she is just happy to see him and understands he’s busy doing important work. He in turn, values her trust and understanding in his situation and I think that’s why he wants so badly to treasure their relationship because he knows he probably won’t find another woman like her.

    We’re nearly in the final stretch and I’m wondering if we’ll get family drama with the men coming home from the North. Also if Yanxi’s cousin is the bad guy here, I hope that doesn’t mean he’ll end up becoming emperor. Both him and Hua Zhi really just want the simple life, heck he even went along with her story of being the matrilineal husband back in the North

I always say, be very afraid of those quiet timid ones, when they explode, get the hell out of their way😜 I am glad that Hua did not intervene while Fudong was communicating her expectations to the team, it was a sign of respect for me. We got to learn to let people go through their own vicissitudes, so they can learn to handle them on their own, unless is a matter of life and death🆘

  5. My star of this episode is Fudong!! I love the way she mastered the courage and confronted her dad. Also the strength is took to stand up to the chefs and to gain their respect though 🥺. The possible pairing of Mr. Bai and Fudong makes me giddy with excitement 😂. This makes me happy because it reiterates the point of them being free to to live, be happy and find love. Baoxia is so witty and I love her.

    Wait til they find out he is a prince lol and they are all from the royal family. That child has been through a lot. He ended up going to the Hua family as we hoped he would.

    Ps: Have I mentioned that I love the OST with the child singing? Yes I do.

  6. Yanxin gives hugs like a friend, yes they kissed once, but he always kisses her on the forehead, how annoying! This is what a father does to his child to show surety and endearing love, a boyfriend is not supposed to kiss his girl on the forehead!

    It would have made more sense for him to sell her normally then buy carmel with part of the money.
    How can the man just exchange her for a carmel

  15. Hua Zhi has a knack for finding stray kids of the royal family. 🥲1st was Yanxi’s younger sister now her younger cousin..hope the family wont get into trouble helping the 6th Prince .
    and it seems like our Hua Family little Ms Chef might become Mrs Bai.. hope they both have a chance of romance Fudong deserves it too..
