3. I only like ML, his tennis player- even if she is a bit of a brat- and maybe his friend, I figure he is not being honest with Goon because he does not know if it would injure him because of the procedure or not.

4. I read the comments before watching but … not sure where the hate for the FL comes from. Sure, Shin is trash, but the FL hasn’t done anything on his level to be grouped with shin and viewed as of the most hated characters. Even from the perspective of a viewer, the FL is not so bad. While she didn’t start off as a likeable character, she has outgrown her initial phase and has become more fitting as the main love interest/ female lead. SFL does come off more fitting from our ‘god like perspective’ but that would only be due to our lack of information and unfinished plots.

   If you read the comments before watching the ep take the hate against the FL as more personal bias than the written character. You can still look forward to her growth as the FL, but the constant hate is really undeserved.

5. I’m watching this until the end because I am a fan of Jaejoong and I am committed to supporting his content. But I am getting sooooo frustrated with the direction of this drama. It had SO MUCH potential, however even my appreciation for Jaejoong can’t help me get over how slow and boring this is getting. I’m disappointed.

   I don’t know if there’s character development left, but I can’t connect with the FL. The brother was interesting at first but now he just comes across as immature and even shady? Plus, I don’t know if it’s just me but the editing is kind of weird? Some scenes seem disconnected.

   And the love line, I dunno. I just don’t see it. Maybe it’s my dislike towards the FL, but I don’t feel any chemistry or even logic behind why they like each other (?) AND the parents are just annoying.

   The only part I find entertaining are the scenes with the SFL. She at least seems like a decent person.

7. That piece of shit brother I hope he doesn’t have a happy ending, he is trash. The girl doctor is not an innocent doll she has also done wrong things but the worst one is the brother, I don’t care he has OCD, impostor syndrome, depression, anxiety, and other things he is a bad person and a bad brother.

   How can you call ‘first love’ someone you met for an hour when you were 12? not only that but focus your life on the idea of finding that person and be automatically in love with them?? why do dramas keep recycling that idea of first love as being your first crush?? sometimes they even make the characters 5 or 6 when they allegedly met their ”first love” when you don’t develop romantic feelings at that age, Chinese dramas are the same, they make a character look for their first love for 20 years and then automatically wanting to marry them when they find them UGHH!

   Contemplating on waiting for the rest of the episodes to come out so I don’t lose my patience with these dumb characters.

9. FL can distance herself from ML but she can’t bring herself to distance from 2ML. It doesn’t matter if he tries to kiss her, rape her. She will be always on his side.

12. Did the idiot Dr ever think that the truth, her betrayal would be much worst for Goon than his past memories and experience post-operation case study? smh. He should never fall for her and she should never pretend to be his first love nor stay close to him.

14. I really wish the worst and most painful outcome for the FL and the SML! They are the most awful characters. Everyone except the ML and SFL are selfish until the very end with no remorse, regret or self reflection whatsoever! The FL just shows she is reflecting for a hot second and goes back to make stupid decisions the very next moment. The writers are creating an illusion of her being empathetic and effective doctor/researcher but she is horrible in everyday. I had some sympathy for the SML but it all vanished in today’s episode. Such a self centered character. When you have siblings like this, you dont need enemies in life. I hope ML and SFL end up together and everyone else is miserable for the rest of their lives without love.

    Also for the writers, people watch shows with Romance and Comedy to relieve stress. Life is full of actual awful people and events happening everyday. Creating so much conflict and drama is a turn off. No wonder this drama is doing poorly in the ratings. Also I am eager to see how they redeem the awful characters at the end.

    Like it was revealed in the teasers- it’s a countryside stopover. I am sucker for those scenes- some ghost possesses these urban humans during their stay(King the land, Lovely runner I am looking at you).
    The Jaejoong let her into his kitchen and cook for her?
    I am not sure if it’s the dark syrup or the monster that he unlocked inside her a few hours ago.

    Lee shin suddenly turns into a monster when something he wants doesn’t go his way. Shin really is scary. He has the habit of building up the pressur in his mind and it blows off in negative directions everytime. I am scared of him now. As for the first love arc, I’m not so interested in it, what matters is who stays. Italia is wonderful human. And Kyung juyeon is changing slowly, but like I’ve said in my previous comments- maybe the writers wanted to make the female lead a flawed heroine.
    This episode started well and took a horrible turn. 3 more weeks and we will say goodbyes. I’m loving every new ep- it’s like a fortune cookie, excitement before and after every scene unfolds. Some might be unhappy with the twists, but I guess I am too used to dramas with plot twists till the last episode. Kinda enjoy them because no episode seems like a filler at all. Maybe the episodes could have been reduced but I guess we have enough time to introduce conflict and resolve it. Right now we have three things to focus on- Shin getting exposed to his own brother, the first love arc and the success of the trial. I think the love arc will be dealt with at the end, that go slow . But the next week and the week following that we could get going finding out the truth, connecting it to the trials and in the end he faces the question of who he loves – unproblematic miss italia with a very problematic current mafia step father who is his first love, or her elder sister whom he’s grown to love.

    I wonder what gave him so much conviction about Juyeon being the first love and never batting an eye towards Sae Yan.
