3. The intense energy when Xue came face-to-face with Shen was so well done. Even the lightening and thunder that raged outside matched the emotions that were happening inside the room, very cinematic and reflective. Being the true guilty coward that he is can’t he even face the possibility that its his actual wife standing before him, he can’t be that dense. Especially since he keeps avoiding her eyes. It’s like even in the shitty situation he is in with the princess he would rather hold on to that life than come clean. I don’t know how she held back from murdering him on the spot; her dedication to raising Jiang Li’s name won this round… can’t wait till its his turn.

4. I really don’t understand the princess!! She’s going against the emperor and talking about how women can also take leading roles and become officiers but then she goes around ruining and killing a women who is considered a talent just because she wanted her husband !!! Make it make sense !!!! There is nothing I hate more than women ruining other women reputation for a man!!
