1. No need for further explanation. In this last episode, each scene wrapped the story perfectly.

   I commented enough on the history of that era. I wish to give a summary of few details by taking this episode as a general exemple. I really enjoyed the black and white 1900s cinematography style. Ms Shi burgundy bob and coat contrasting with the grayish scenery like a vintage postcard. All the dark sceneries relevant to this gloomy era to my eyes were perfect. The camera takes teleported me in the 1900s. Fortunately, the music, lyrics compensate for the awful translation.

   This being said, I am looking forward to watch more of the director Wan Li Yang works.
