My Lovely Boxer (2023)

Kim Tae Young, a ruthless sports agent, strategically exploits gifted players for profit before their decline. Among them is baseball pitcher Kim Hee Won, who holds a unique place in Tae Young’s heart. When Hee Won faces adversity, Tae Young is tasked with coaxing female boxer Lee Kwon Sook out of retirement. Lee Kwon Sook, once a teenage boxing sensation, vanished three years after an undefeated streak. In pursuit of aiding Hee Won, Tae Young seeks out Lee Kwon Sook’s new life, coaxing her to return to the ring she left behind. Adapted from Choo Jong Nam’s novel “Sunjeongbokseo Ikwonsuk” (순정복서 이권숙).
