Synopsis: Zhang Daoling, a deity, escorts Tianting to Kunlun Mountain to punish Chi Lianjun for a crime. Unexpectedly, Zhang Daoling falls into a trap, allowing Chi Lianjun to escape. To protect the world’s peace, Zhang Daoling begins to pursue Chi Lianjun. Years later, Zhang Daoling comes across reports of many mourners being taken away by black and white impermanence and never heard from again. Suspecting that these missing persons have been captured by Chi Lianjun to absorb their primordial spirit, Zhang Daoling starts to investigate the impermanence and hooks.
