Synopsis: Kaibutsu no Kikori tells the story of Sawamura Daiku, a skilled woodcutter from the countryside whose life is changed when he stumbles upon a young girl who turns out to be a monster. Daiku soon finds himself embroiled in a struggle between the forces of evil and a mysterious and powerful group of warriors. With the help of the warriors, Daiku must fight the evil forces in order to protect the people of Japan.
