1. So, basically, the FL will create an emotional bond with the ML who is now a perpetrator of harm and violence in her life. He’s being the most handsome, the most ‘clever’(manipulating and scheming and vile) and flashy seems to be an attraction to the girl who likes to reply to the man who grabs her at her neck and tortures with this and that and blackmails her with flirty wit, carefree mischief and as if bravery until he throws her at sth vertical and hard. We will see him getting 180 change I guess and hell become an emotional, teary and heartbroken man capable of true love. Pei Yan character is at now an apple of my eye:) not sure if hell become villainish at some point or no, but, boy, he is the reason this quite stereotypical drama held my attention, despite ‘the usual’ excessive cruelty we see in cdrama of this type, ‘the usual’ revenge plot of main leads and even much unpleasant and disturbing cursing we heard from the female lead’s mouth. Even in a drama, voicing curses is a grave danger and sin. I think they shouldn’t have included that in the drama. PY definitely has his own dark moments which became obvious when JC talked about responsibilities but so far he is a personality worth respect and admiration, talented, strong, intelligent, empathetic, not resorting to emotional abuse and dishonest means. I hope that wont change.
