Death’s Game (2023)
Yijae Choi, perpetually jobless and reeling from the loss of his savings to a bitcoin scam, reaches a breaking point when his ex-girlfriend moves on. Contemplating suicide due to societal pressures, he encounters Death, who rebukes his casual attitude towards dying. Death imposes a punishment: Yijae must undergo death repeatedly across 13 different lives. However, if he manages to evade the imminent demise in these lives, he earns the chance to live out their full lifetimes. His failed life becomes a focal point, prompting him to question the impact on others’ lives through this haunting cycle.
