Synopsis: The drama is set in 1980 during the Gwangju uprising. It tells the love story of medical student Hwang Hee Tae and nurse Kim Myung Hee.

Hee Tae is a medical student who is top in his class. He seems to be a carefree person, but at the same time he has an unshakable spirit and perseverance.

Kim Myung Hee is a hardworking nurse who left home and now lives alone in Gwangju.While she’s not friendly enough to comfort crying patients, she’s smart and skillful enough to find a suitable blood vessel right away.
