Synopsis: Sim Jung Woo is an intelligent and successful young man. After placing first in the state examination, he is chosen to be the princess’ husband, but during their wedding ceremony, the princess suddenly dies. Due to the customs of the Joseon period, Jung Woo is not able to take the government post he was promised and is prohibited from remarrying. Meanwhile, Jung Soon Deok is a widow whose late husband was the second son of the first vice-premier. She leads a secret life under the pseudonym of Yeo Joo Daek, working as a matchmaker and peddler of women’s items. As the best matchmaker in the capital city of Hanyang, Jung Woo and Jung Soon Deok become involved and try to facilitate marriages between older single men and women.
