3. Teaser Ep 20— Zhao Quan talks about taking full responsibility and that he will marry He Zhen with all rituals (It looks like Zhao Quan and He Zhen had some intimate scenes between them). Xing Zhou tells “between him and his cousin there is cooperation, compromise and mutual benefit but there’s absolutely no affection” (I think he talks about this to his mother or to the Queen Dowager). Xing Zhou takes care of Mian Tang. Xing Zhou directly tells to his mother, his aunt and his cousin “In the future, if I hear any insults toward her again, no matter who it is, I will not forgive them easily”. (As usual “typical asian mother” gets a headache after hearing her son standing against her for other girl). U_U
   Ep 21— Xing Zhou drags Mian Tang into the house. Xing Zhou and Mian Tang have a scene in the bathtub(XZ makes MT fall on his lap in the bathtab and MT takes out her hairpin and hold it close to XZ’s neck) 😁. He tells her “Mian Tang, ever since we returned to Zhenzhou, I have been feeling uneasy. I keep thinking i am going to lose you.” Mian Tang asks Xing Zhou “Honey Tell me, who is more powerful, Lord Huaiyang or the leader of Mount Yang?” He Zhen come and talks to Mian Tang about her friend who denied her real mother and mistook the maid as her mother. Xing Zhou comes to see his mother and tells her that he, Cui Xing Zhou will only marry Liu Mian Tang in this life. His mother starts beating him with a stick, calls him “scoundrel”. :'( Feeling little sad for Xing Zhou…
   well i think they have changed many plots in the drama. When will Xing Zhou know about Miang Tang being the real Mount Tang’s leader Lu Wen??? maybe in ep 22/23…..

4. Cui Xingzhou wanted to finish his task first regarding the iron ore business…he wanted to go to the capital first to present A Gushan… he wanted to tell his mother first about his marriage… he wanted to take care of He Zhen first… he wanted to go back to Lingquan first…

   Of all the things Cui Xingzhou wanted to do first before telling the truth to Liu Miantang about the whole charade, I will not be surprised if Liu Miantang will kill him which she will try to do based on the teasers first before he even confess lol

   Of course, I’ll give our man a props to what he wanted to do first lol he’s in no position to put love and emotions first since he had so many things to consider first as Lord Huaiyang, it’s just so dragging and taxing to see him thread in thin ice whenever he lies to Liu Miantang lol

5. So basically, the trading of black iron ore that Liu Miantang’s escort agency oversees are to be used for a possible coup set by Prince Sui and/or to be used to forge weaponries for the war.

   I am also leaning towards the idea that the trading of ores already began even before the Mount Yang bandits “save” Ziyu. So it is possible that Prince Sui/Ziyu/Sun Yun’er appeared after the establishment of Mount Yang and wanted to take control of the trading.

   Now the question is whether Liu Miantang is aware of all of it or not. If she knew what the purpose of the ores are for Prince Sui’s team. Since it will defeat the purpose of their the Robin Hood-esque act.

6. I just love it how Cui Xingzhou can differentiate between Ziyu’s Lu Wen and Liu Miantang’s Lu Wen. When Liu Miantang helped him find Sun Yun’er’s men, Cui Xingzhou knew it was the original Lu Wen.

7. The way the ML is still needlessly lying to her (I mean, other people have found out, your lies are getting bigger and more colourful, and not to mention that your true identity and complicated situation with the royals puts your life at risk and very probably hers by association as well!!) makes me kind of wish the FL and her band of brothers would go kamikaze on the bad guys on their own without the romance aspect.

8. Another player was introduced in the prior episode – the grand consort dowager, grandmother of the young king.

   I’m also beginning to assume that Ziyu, Lord Huayang and the young king are half-brothers, sharing the same (dead) father but having different mothers.

   Now, I feel even more sorry for Cui Jiu (Lord Huayang). The court wants him dead, the woman he has come to care for wants him dead, and his cousin is still waiting for him.

   (Hypothetical question – seeing how much Liu wants Cui dead, if she were to see him get heavily wounded and near death, would she be genuinely happy or sad?)
